Happy Week in the Life documenting week! For any of you who aren’t familiar with Week in the Life, it is a project started years ago by Ali Edwards and it is a week-long documenting project focused on the stories of our everyday lives. You can learn more about Week in the Life here.
This is my 5th year participating in this project and creating an accompanying scrapbook to hold all my words and photos from the week. I am mixing it up a little this year and decided to work in a 4×8 Life Crafted album from Citrus Twist. I am both excited and nervous about changing up the format and size. I decided to try a new size because I’ve had a lot of fun working in these albums lately (some projects I’ll be sharing soon) and because I wanted to try to pare down and simplify my Week in the Life album. If you’ve watched any of my walkthrough videos from previous years, you know that I tend to go overboard in this project and by the end of the week I can hardly close the album at all because it’s so chock-full of good stuff. I wanted something simpler this year. So I’m giving it a try!
This video shows you how I’ve got my album all setup and how I am currently planning to approach the album part of this project. It’s subject to change, of course, but I’m feeling pretty good with what I’ve got in mind right now.
